Mission Statement

The ministry of Christ Lutheran Church is guided by its Mission Statement. 

Looking Up to God -- We are a congregation grounded in the Word of God. We strive to deepen our spiritual life and to know Jesus Christ as our personal Savior.

Reaching Out to the World -- We follow the command of Jesus in Matthew 28:19 to make disciples of all nations. We identify and respond to the needs of our community, whether local or global and pursue our mission as a Christ-driven church. We rely on the Holy Spirit to support us.

Audio sermons, ministry outreach, congregational activities, calendar of events, and prayer concerns are some of the many examples of what you will discover on our website. We hope you will also visit our church so you can experience the beauty and picturesque setting of our church campus. You will discover an outstretched hand of fellowship by our wonderful volunteers and staff. Christ Lutheran Church (CLC) was founded in 1976 and chartered on April 11th as a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Our congregation is a member of the Arkansas / Oklahoma Synod of the ELCA, with the synod office located in Tulsa, OK. Located in the Ouachita Mountains of central Arkansas, Hot Springs Village is a wonderful place to retire. Our members hail from all over the United States; many having been Lutheran before their move to the Village. The Village is a warm community of caring and active people who have many interests and talents.
        If you are approaching retirement and would be interested in discovering a haven of idyllic beauty and tranquility, we would like to invite you to spend a three day weekend with one of our church's families. We would love to show you a church whose members are committed to living out our mission statement. And, we promise to show you the wonderful community in which we live, serve the Lord, and enjoy unbelievable ammenities.
